Volunteers undertaking access work.  Meet at 1030 at the entrance to the woodland on the A678 next to the Unities Utilities Depot.  Wear warm and old clothes and sensible strong shoes or boots.  Bring a packed lunch.  Tools, gloves, materials and hot drinks provived. Session finishes at 2.30pm.  This is one of our regiular 'Monday Volunteers' conservation sessions.

The walk has been described as one of Lancashire’s hidden gems – a tranquil walk through the vale between Great Harwood and Langho where there is a rich and varied landscape, breathtaking countryside and superb views.

Hyndburn Tree Wardens invite you to Walk in the Woods at 1830 on Monday, 13th May.  Join the Tree Wardens for a walk through some of Accrington's ancient woodland, maturing woods and new plantations.  Wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.  Meet at Scaitcliffe house, Ormerod Street, Accrington.
