Great Harwood PROSPECTS Panel
Great Harwood PROSPECTS Panel was set up 10 years with local residents and representatives of other local groups to help improve Great Harwood's local environment and improve access to surrounding green areas.
The Panel is a diverse one with members also representing other local groups such as Great Harwood Civic Society and Community Action Group. Each bring their ideas to panel meetings which help towards organising various projects and events in the town.
We like to work with other local groups or residents in Great Harwood. An example is our work at Edge End Wood with loca residents where we have carried out small tree felling and created wildlife habitats which have improved the area for both local people and wildlife. Another example is our partnership work with Lancashire County Council and Great Harwood Civic Society where we have made improvements to the Great Harwood Nature Walk and footpaths around Great Harwood.
