VOLUNTEERS at the PROSPECTS Environment Centre

NEW Volunteering Scheme started in October 2015 with opportunities to learn new skills, experience practical activities and gain knowledge through training and certificated courses.

AQA Achievement Awards available through our Programme of Activities and the AQA Unit Award Scheme.  Download a Leaflet HERE.  HSE approved formal qualifications Level 2 also available.

There are many ways you can volunteer at PROSPECTS.

  • Monday Conservation Volunteers
  • Nature Reserve Volunteers (Monday and Tuesday, various locations)
  • Conservation Rangers (Hours to fit work, family life or college)
  • Woody (Friday)
  • Administration and helping to organise Events (Various)
  • Prospects Environment Centre (various)
  • Running Hobby Arts and Crafts (Saturday)
  • Running MIAMI (Make It And Mend It) (Tuesday)
  • Bike Ride Leaders (Club Ride Leaders) with Hyndburn CTC

Drop-in and ask the PROSPECT'S STAFF for more information, to complete a Volunteere Enquiry Form or
telephone for an appointment on Monday - Thursday between 10-4pm or between 10am and 12.30pm on Friday to become a regular volunteer.  Contact Barbara Sharples to arrange a meeting.
